Sourcing Manager – ApparelPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Sourcing Manager to oversee the sourcing and production process for Children's Apparel from development through bulk production. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams and global vendor partners to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing products for Walmart and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesManage vendor relationships and support the sourcing strategy across apparel categories.Partner with Product Development, Merchandising, Technical Design, and Production teams throughout the product lifecycle.Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production capacity with overseas factories.Monitor production timelines to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any sourcing or production issues.Evaluate factory performance and support continuous improvements in quality, cost, and efficiency.Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, sourcing opportunities, and global manufacturing capabilities.Ensure products meet quality standards and company compliance requirements.Qualifications8+ years of sourcing experience in the apparel industry.Must have experience working directly with Walmart and/or ChildrenswearExperience sourcing apparel for mass market retailers.Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain processes.Experience working with overseas factories and vendor partners.Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.This is a great opportunity for a sourcing professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of the apparel sourcing process within the mass market sector.
