Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based

Location: Janell, TX

School Year: 2026-2027

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Contract Length: 38 weeks

A school district in Janell, TX is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position during the 2026-2027 school year . This role includes a mix of evaluations, ARD participation, direct therapy services, and documentation. The position offers the flexibility of one remote day per week for report writing , with the remainder of time spent on campus.

Position Details

• Schedule: Weekdays

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week

• Contract Length: 38 weeks

• Start Date: August 3, 2026

• Setting: In-person with one remote documentation day per week

• Interview Process: Required

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations

• Participate in ARD meetings

• Provide individual and group therapy services

• Complete evaluations, progress notes, and written reports

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice

• CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract)

• Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Compensation

• $60 per hour (local)

• W-2 employment through Amergis
