Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated hospitalists to join our team, with a commitment of 168 shifts annually. Shifts will typically run from 7 AM to 7 PM, 7 PM to 7 AM, or 9 AM to 9 PM, primarily following a 7 on / 7 off schedule. Our hospitalist services are offered at both the Waterloo and Cedar Falls campuses, featuring an open ICU supported by intensivist coverage. While an interest in performing procedures is appreciated, it is not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive hospitalist services at designated campuses.
- Manage patient care in an open ICU environment.
- Collaborate with intensivists and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in a flexible schedule that promotes work-life balance.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Annual Salary: $280,056
- Commencement Bonus: $50,000
- Relocation Allowance: $15,000
- Malpractice Insurance: Employer-paid, including tail coverage
- Health Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance with shared premiums
- Retirement Plans: Two options available: 403(b) with employer matching and a 457(b) savings plan
- Disability Coverage: Employer-paid short-term disability with an option to purchase long-term disability at a minimal cost
- CME Allowance: $6,000 per year
- Loan Forgiveness: Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness due to our non-profit status
