Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs an EHS Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.How you will make an impactSupport site EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including regulatory reporting and tracking, while promoting a strong EHS culture and awareness of initiativesLead the site's Stormwater and Hazardous Waste programs, serving as the primary point of contact for compliance activities, monitoring, reporting, and corrective actions, with support from the EHS ManagerProvide technical EHS support for new or modified equipment, new product introductions, incoming material approval, and management of changeConduct risk assessments and support implementation of corrective actions to reduce risk, drive continuous improvement, and improve overall site performanceAssist with incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventative action developmentSupport inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions, including preparation, participation, and follow-upYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND (2) two years of experience in EHS in a private, public, government or military environmentORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND (6) six years in experience in EHS in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with Plant Management and production employeesStrong attention to detail with effective prioritization and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of ISO 14001Experience with hazardous waste management, stormwater management, lock out/tag out, machine guarding, and/or emergency response teams in a manufacturing environmentCertifications such as: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH); Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM); Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other related credentialsWork location: Onsite Irvine, CATravel: May include up to 5% [domestic/international]Relocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
