Quick Facts: Location: 130 West Ravine Road, Kingsport, TN 37660 Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 04/05/2027 Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour coverage) Hours/Week: Approximately 40-50 hours, including call Employment Type: Contract/Locum License/Certs: TN State License, ACLS, BLS, DEA (TN), Board Certified GI highly preferred Experience: Well-versed in all General GI and ERCP procedures, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar roles Pay & Benefits: Rate: $4,680.00 per week ($550/hour for callback shifts) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per legal requirements Support with licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your contract What You’ll Do: Perform inpatient general GI and ERCP procedures at two Tennessee facilities Support ERCP cases with advanced Olympus equipment Assist during scheduled endoscopy procedures, averaging 7-8 daily Participate in on-call responsibilities, including night and weekend coverage Collaborate with supportive nursing and clinical staff in a well-equipped Endoscopy Suite or OR Support hospital rounding and patient consultations as needed Maintain documentation in EPIC EMR system (preferred experience) What You Need: Board Certification in Gastroenterology (required) Active TN State Medical License or ability to obtain via IMLC (required prior to confirmation) ACLS and BLS certifications Experience with ERCP procedures essential Ability to handle high procedure volume with efficiency and professionalism Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations About the Assignment: This inpatient-only gastroenterology role is based at two well-respected Tennessee hospitals. The successful candidate will support a busy endoscopy unit, performing complex procedures such as ERCP, in a collaborative and high-volume environment. The facility offers block scheduling in the endoscopy suite, with a focus on patient-centered care and procedural excellence.
