Associate Director, Program Supply Chain

AbbVie seeks an Associate Director to lead end-to-end management of external clinical drug product manufacturing partnerships. The role manages third-party manufacturer relationships, oversees project execution, and supervises a team of 5–7 professionals supporting pharmaceutical development programs.
Responsibilities
- Establish and onboard new third-party manufacturing partners
- Serve as primary operational relationship lead for assigned manufacturers
- Lead cross-functional project teams and oversee end-to-end drug product manufacturing
- Manage supplier performance, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
- Lead, develop, and build capabilities within team of 5–7 professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years pharmaceutical, device engineering, or operations experience
- 6+ years program management experience
- Project risk management expertise
- Cross-functional collaboration and leadership capability
- Strategic and creative thinking ability
