Senior Accounting Consultant

Working remotely from anywhere within the U.S., the full-time Senior Accounting Consultant will perform technical accounting analysis, maintain general ledger accounts, and prepare financial statements while collaborating with various teams. Key responsibilities: Conduct technical accounting analysis and research to support financial reporting Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare documentation for audits and financial statements Lead the month-end close process and mentor junior staff in accounting practices Required qualifications: 5+ years of professional accounting experience Experience in public accounting Expert understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
