Personal Assistant – Fluent in French Required

Our client, a Beverly Hills-based holding company, is seeking a highly polished, discreet, and proactive Personal Assistant to support a busy executive based in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and French , highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing both professional and personal matters with complete confidentiality.

This role requires excellent judgment, emotional intelligence, flexibility, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. The assistant will act as a trusted right hand, helping ensure the executive’s daily life, travel, calendar, communications, and personal affairs run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage complex personal and professional calendars, appointments, reminders, and scheduling.
  2. Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, restaurant reservations, and itineraries.
  3. Serve as a liaison with vendors, household staff, service providers, family offices, hotels, restaurants, and external contacts.
  4. Handle personal errands, gifting, shopping, returns, reservations, and special requests.
  5. Support French and English communications, including calls, emails, translations, and correspondence.
  6. Organize personal documents, bills, expenses, receipts, travel documents, and household records.
  7. Assist with event planning, dinners, social engagements, and private appointments.
  8. Coordinate household needs, maintenance, deliveries, contractors, and service appointments as needed.
  9. Conduct research on travel, luxury services, restaurants, wellness, real estate, shopping, and personal projects.
  10. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all personal, business, family, and financial matters.
  11. Anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and ensure follow-through on all open tasks.

Qualifications

  1. Fluent in English and French , written and spoken.
  2. Prior experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Family Office Assistant, or Household Manager.
  3. Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, senior executives, entrepreneurs, or public-facing principals strongly preferred.
  4. Based in Los Angeles, with strong knowledge of the city, including the Westside, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Malibu, and major airports.
  5. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Comfortable managing both business and personal matters.
  7. High level of discretion, loyalty, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
  8. Strong technology skills, including calendar management, email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, iPhone, travel apps, and expense tools.
  9. Ability to work independently, prioritize quickly, and remain calm under pressure.
  10. Flexible availability, including occasional evenings, weekends, or travel as needed.
  11. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
