Come make a difference with our exceptional team!THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER WE'RE LOOKING FORCurrent, valid driver's licenseAbility to travel throughout your territory in a company-provided vehicleWillingness to occasionally travel overnight (around once per month)Preferred - 3+ years of experience in B2B outside sales with a focus on new business acquisitionPreferred - experience with industrial equipment, commercial construction, facility maintenance, automotive, distribution, food, chemical, or building systems salesPreferred - familiarity with the overhead door, dock system, and/or life-safety industriesPreferred - existing relationships within relevant industries you can build onYOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERTypical work hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.In this remote role, you'll travel throughout Birmingham, Decatur, and Tuscaloosa to seek out prospective opportunities with commercial businesses. Your main focus will be on companies within the distribution, manufacturing, industrial, or retail space, and you'll aim to meet with decision-makers to demonstrate how our services can benefit them. We'll provide you with our Sandler-powered sales process, and you'll use these methods to build relationships with prospective clients, educate them on the value of partnering with us, and overcome objections to close deals.
