Senior Strategic Workforce Planning Advisor

What You’ll Do Interpret Workday signals and translate them for HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), providing early visibility rather than reactive reporting. Ensure COEs are aligned with actual workforce activity versus planned activity, for example Talent Acquisition (hiring demand signals), Learning & Development (skill gaps, org shifts, potential training classes), and HR Business Partners (org design changes, risks). Track variance and reporting for actual versus planned headcount, positions, and spend using Workday and Adaptive Workforce Planning tools. Partner with the People Insights & Analytics team to transform reporting into clear narratives and insights for leaders at multiple levels, including executive leadership. Own process improvement and governance in Workday, managing position flow review, approval, auditing, and cleanup. Identify and address process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities in business process design. Support ticketing and change requests from Finance and HR partners. Act as and evolve resources for HR Business Partners and leaders. Serve as the team’s primary expert in Workday position data, transactions, and workflows, ensuring data hygiene during reorganizations. What You Bring BA or advanced degree required, with 5+ years of experience; or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Strong Workday experience and familiarity with Adaptive Workforce Planning, position management, HR/Finance planning tools, or workforce reporting. Experience in workforce planning, including headcount planning, org design, scenario modeling, or transformation planning. Analytical skills in forecasting, variance analysis, dashboards, and workforce insights. Cross‑functional partnership experience with HR Business Partners, Finance/FP&A, People Insights, HR COEs, and senior leaders.
