About the Role We are seeking a Business Analyst III to support multiple IT initiatives focused on delivering high quality, cost effective technology solutions aligned to strategic business goals. This role requires a strong balance of business analysis expertise and technical proficiency, along with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technical teams. This is a hybrid position based in Alpharetta, GA , requiring onsite presence three days per week. Candidates must be local to the Alpharetta area and available for onsite interviewing. Responsibilities Analyze, define, and document complex business requirements and end to end processes Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and techno functional requirements Develop system specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies Perform analysis on existing systems to identify improvement opportunities and solution options Collaborate with internal IT teams, remote development teams, data scientists, and engineers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented Work closely with technical teams on API driven solutions, integrations, and data flows Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, including As Is and To Be process models Identify and document process improvements using best practices and data analysis Contribute to the design and deployment of AI enabled solutions that automate processes and enhance decision making Support testing activities and maintain automated test scripts as needed Follow established business processes, quality standards, and delivery protocols Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements General BS/BA degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience required; ISEB qualified Business Analyst preferred Ability to work in a hybrid environment with onsite presence three days per week at Alpharetta, GA office is required. Relocation assistance is not offered, and candidates must be able to reliably commute. Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or technical environment Proven experience gathering requirements and translating them into user stories and functional specifications Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and the software development lifecycle Experience documenting As Is and To Be processes and working with cross functional stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and stakeholder communications Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, engineers, and remote teams across multiple initiatives Technical Proficiency Hands on experience working with APIs and web services, including REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, and related tools such as Postman Strong understanding of data mapping, schemas, and data flows Experience writing and analyzing SQL or database queries Demonstrated experience with Python coding, data analysis, and data visualization Working knowledge of conceptual data modeling, UML, and system integration patterns Working for you We know that your wellbeing and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
