• Start: June 3, 2026
• Pay Rate: $60.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 4x10-Hour Days, 07:00–17:30; Monday–Friday
• Call Requirement: With callback and weekend call required; 9–11 days in a 6-week schedule with 1–2 weekends depending on rotation

Job Summary

This is a Cath Lab Tech (Allied) travel/contract position at a medical facility in Charlotte, NC. The unit operates 3 rooms and performs a range of interventional cardiology and structural heart procedures, including complex PCIs. Unit systems include EPIC and MAC Lab. Scrubs are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor, manage PA Lines and Telemetry in the Cath Lab setting
• Perform and assist with Structural Heart & TAVR procedures (required)
• Assist with Cath Lab procedures including Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, and Rotablader
• Operate within a 3-room target ratio
• Participate in call requirement with callback and weekend call; 9–11 days in a 6-week schedule with 1–2 weekends depending on rotation
• Float as required (rare; if required, floating would be to EP — this rarely happens; unit has a patient holding area inside the Cath Lab that traveler may have to go to on occasion, but it is part of the Cath Lab)
• Utilize EPIC and MAC Lab unit systems

Required Skills

• Scrub, Monitor, PA Lines and Telemetry
• Structural Heart & TAVR Experience (MUST HAVE — do not apply without this)
• Cath Lab procedure experience: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader

• Cath Lab procedure experience: Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations, Coil Embolization, Filter Placement
• EKG Settings & Experience: Rhythm Interpretation

Education Requirements

• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must have at least one of the following: RCIS or ARRT

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Call requirement with callback and weekend call required; 9–11 days in a 6-week schedule with 1–2 weekends depending on rotation
• Floating may be required (rare; EP or patient holding area within the Cath Lab)
• Scrubs provided

Important Notes

• Structural Heart scrub experience is a mandatory requirement. Candidates without this experience will not be screened or considered.
• RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in a cancel and DNR.
• The expected start date is based on the facility's schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.
• The facility will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
• Please provide interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting. The manager will not extend an offer without speaking to the candidate first.
