Accounts Payable (AP) AccountantSalary: $60,000 – $70,000Location: Carmel, INSchedule: HybridBenefits: Full benefits packageWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:• Community-focused organization with a positive, collaborative culture• Hybrid work model supporting strong work-life balance• Team environment built on transparency, trust, and continuous improvement• Opportunity to be a key contributor within a growing finance team• Exposure to month-end and year-end close processes beyond day-to-day AP• Organization that values professional growth and employee development• Stable role with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsKey Responsibilities for the AP Accountant:• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies• Maintain the accounts payable ledger and vendor files• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies• Prepare and process vendor payments accurately and on schedule• Assist with month-end close, including accruals and AP reporting• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain approvals and resolve issues• Support audits and respond to auditor requests related to accounts payable• Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of AP processes and controlsQualifications for the AP Accountant:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred• 2–4 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; ERP experience a plus• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
