As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative culture that puts people first. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Schedule: Full-time; typical days Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and customer support activities appropriate for a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter spaces, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts. Support emergency response activities as needed, including providing direction to occupants, communicating with site contacts, and assisting with orderly incident response procedures. Qualifications Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
