Concierge - Part-time

Part-Time Overnight ConciergeAs our Part-Time Overnight Concierge, you are the community's after-hours resource and a dependable presence throughout the night. Working from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., you will support residents, assist visitors, monitor building activity, respond to after-hours concerns, and help prepare the community for the day ahead. While overnight hours are typically quieter, there is still plenty to accomplish. This role calls for independence, attentiveness, sound judgment, and clear communication to help maintain a welcoming, secure, and well-prepared environment throughout the night.What You'll DoCreate a warm welcome. Greet residents, guests, vendors, and their pets; determine how you can help; and provide assistance, directions, or information as needed.Manage after-hours communication. Answer incoming calls professionally and document leasing inquiries, resident requests, and other messages for follow-up by the appropriate team member on the next business day.Coordinate mail and packages. Receive, log, secure, and distribute mail and packages in accordance with community procedures. Deliver packages to residents' doors when requested and permitted by community practice, and conduct package audits to help maintain accurate records.Support resident needs. Assist with after-hours requests, lockouts, guest parking passes, amenity reservations, and resident concerns in accordance with community policies and procedures.Coordinate service requests and emergencies. Document maintenance requests accurately, follow established emergency and after-hours procedures when immediate action is required, and communicate information clearly to the day team for follow-up.Complete administrative projects. Assist with assigned projects, reports, audits, recordkeeping, and other administrative tasks during slower periods of the shift.Monitor the community. Conduct routine property walks, confirm designated building access points are closed and secured, observe security cameras, and report unusual activity, safety concerns, or maintenance issues according to established procedures.Prepare for the day ahead. Complete shift reports, organize information for the morning team, restock designated lobby supplies as needed, and help ensure the community is ready for the next business day.Follow community standards. Protect resident privacy, maintain professionalism, and follow all building access, safety, and emergency-response procedures.What We're Looking ForA genuine interest in helping people and creating a welcoming resident experience.Strong communication, organization, judgment, and follow-through.The ability to work independently, remain alert, and respond calmly and professionally during after-hours situations.Comfort using phones, computers, email, security-monitoring equipment, and property or package-management systems.Customer service experience in hospitality, retail, multifamily property management, or a similar environment is preferred. We are also open to training someone with the right service mindset.The ability to work the established part-time schedule: Fridays & Saturdays from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.RequirementsThis role regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, and communicating with residents and guests for extended periods. The team member must occasionally be able to handle light packages, with or without reasonable accommodation.Schedule and OrientationThis part-time position follows an established schedule. Time-off requests must be submitted to and approved by the manager in accordance with the Concierge Time Off Policy. Permanent part-time Concierge team members may take off one weekend per calendar quarter.New hires are required to attend Dweck's New Hire Orientation, which is typically held on the second Monday of each month at our Headquarters office in Washington, D.C. Orientation is a fully paid day that begins at 9:30 a.m. and continues through late afternoon.
