The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of up to five individuals, guiding them in their work at the intersection of fundraising, lay-led advocacy, and political engagement. This role involves close collaboration with the Regional Director to set and execute strategies that align with the organization's mission. The Managing Deputy Director will also be involved in fundraising, stewarding relationships, and ensuring the team is well-integrated and effective. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' of direct management experience, a passion for the organization's mission, and a strong understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its impact on American politics and the Jewish community. The role requires a collaborative worker with excellent communication skills, the ability to build and cultivate relationships, and a high level of organization. A background in fundraising, event management, and familiarity with the political and Jewish communal landscape is strongly preferred.
