Trade Surveillance Compliance Specialist

New York City | Full-Time, 5 Days In Office A leading alternative investment manager is seeking a Trade Surveillance Compliance Specialist to join its global Compliance team. This is a highly visible role responsible for the ongoing enhancement, calibration, and oversight of the firm's global trade surveillance program. The successful candidate will partner closely with Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Investment teams to identify and mitigate market conduct risks across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions. Key Requirements Buy-side trade surveillance (4 plus years) or market conduct compliance experience. Strong hands-on experience reviewing, investigating, and escalating trade surveillance alerts. Experience calibrating and enhancing surveillance scenarios and controls; Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (NTS) experience is preferred. Deep understanding of market abuse, insider trading, and market conduct regulations. Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the gravitas to interact credibly with senior investment professionals and leadership teams. Open to candidates at both VP and Director level who remain willing to stay hands-on with daily surveillance and global alert review responsibilities. Experience within a sophisticated, fast-paced investment management environment preferred.
