About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the senior financial leader and drive the organization's overall financial strategy. The CFO will be responsible for treasury operations, banking relationships, working capital management, and commodity risk management, with a specific focus on hedging. This executive will work closely with the CEO and the executive team to enhance profitability, cash flow, and long-term growth. Key duties include overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and financing arrangements, as well as ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls in collaboration with the Controller and Accounting team. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company should have a proven track record in a similar role, with experience in financial management, and a deep understanding of commodity risk, particularly in the context of hedging. The CFO will also be involved in optimizing margins, managing precious-metal price exposure, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. A strong background in process improvement and a focus on strengthening the company's financial performance and risk management are essential. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of partnering with various departments to achieve the company's financial goals.
