Summary Job Description Radiation Therapist Full-Time, Days Lexington, KY $15,000 sign on bonus for qualified individuals Baptist Health outpatient oncology, where compassionate care meets advanced treatment. Description Must be able to be on call, including weekends and holidays, and flexible to work above standard hours to meet staffing needs. Utilizes ionizing-radiation producing equipment to administer therapeutic doses of radiation as prescribed by the physician for each patient undergoing a prescribed course of radiotherapy. Maintains treatment equipment and records, monitoring treatment area, and other duties as needed. Accurately delivers a planned course of radiotherapy by administering treatment in a safe manner. Demonstrates how to use Linacs and CT simulator and perform patient treatments. Provides patient education, scheduling and excellent customer relations. Correctly documents and captures charges for procedures.
