Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Deliver non-complex active and passive manual therapy, therapeutic massage, and select modalities (e.g., heat, cold, traction, electrical stimulation) as prescribed.
- Accurately document patient status on a daily/weekly basis and submit clinical records on time each week.
- Participate in educational meetings, contribute to department in-services, and communicate equipment or supply issues promptly to the PT, Clinical Manager, or Director.
- Schedule patients and assist with related office tasks; apply infection control and universal precautions to patient care activities.
- Accept assignments consistent with education and competence; support compliance with third-party payors through education and collaboration as needed.

Requirements
- Active state license to practice Physical Therapy (PTA) – Required
- Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program – Required
- Proof of current CPR certification – Required
- Current driver’s license – Required
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance – Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant – Required
- Ability to work in a home health travel environment; flexible schedule and local travel required
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Physical ability to perform duties which may include heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and manual techniques
