Our team balances business strategy, technology, creativity, and ongoing managed services to solve the biggest problems that affect customers, partners, constituents, and the workforce.Work you'll doAs a Engineering Delivery Manager II on the GPS HST Technology team, you will be responsible for:Manage the lifecycle of Medicaid eligibility systems (design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance)Oversee application performance, reliability, and scalabilityCoordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancementEnsure integration with related systems (MMIS, HIX/Marketplace etc.)Lead and manage projects related to eligibility system transformations and modernizationDevelop project plans, timelines, and budgetsCoordinate with vendors, system integrators, and internal IT teamsMonitor project risks, issues, and dependencies Business & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with business stakeholders, policy teams, and operations to gather requirementsTranslate policy and regulatory requirements into system functionalityAct as the liaison between technical teams and business usersManage and mentor application developers, analysts, and support staffPromote Agile/DevOps practices for continuous delivery and improvementEnsure effective workload planning and team performanceEnsure accurate eligibility determination logic and data integrityOversee reporting and analytics related to enrollment, eligibility, and complianceSupport data exchanges (e.g., Federal Data Services Hub, state systems)Ensure timely resolution of production issues and incidentsEstablish SLAs and monitor service performanceDrive continuous improvement and process optimizationA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to othersThe teamDeloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) practice is designed for impact. Within this environment, GPS HST Technology professionals support programs that improve service delivery, operational effectiveness, and constituent outcomes.QualificationsRequired:10+ years of consulting and/or industry experienceExperience with state public assistance systems supporting eligibility and benefits determination and case managementExperience supporting state clients in one or more of the following areas: eligibility determination, benefits calculation, benefits issuance, or information managementBachelor’s degreeAbility to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be availablePreferred:Experience managing small to mid-size engagements or workstreams and leading multiple team membersExperience mentoring or leading multiple team membersYou may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
