Work you'll do As an Engineering Manager II on the Industry Solutions team, you will be responsible for… Leading a quality engineering organization across enterprise initiatives by setting delivery strategy, managing workloads, and driving accountability for quality outcomesDirecting system and integration testing for large-scale transformation programs spanning business rules, eligibility workflows, configurations, application programming interfaces, user interfaces, and end-to-end scenariosEstablishing governance, release readiness reporting, quality metrics, and risk management practices while coordinating across development, testing, business, and integration teamsModernizing automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, Cucumber behavior-driven development, Page Object Model design, fixtures, and reusable components to improve regression efficiency and maintainabilityDriving innovation through artificial intelligence-enabled quality engineering solutions, including test impact assessment, scenario generation, and document validation capabilities A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a technical field, or equivalent experience7+ years of experience in quality engineering, test management, or software delivery for enterprise platforms3+ years of experience leading testing organizations of 20+ professionals across cross-functional delivery teams2+ years of experience defining system testing, integration testing, release readiness reporting, and defect governance for enterprise transformation programs2+ years of experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Cucumber behavior-driven development, or automation framework designAbility to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: 2+ years of experience supporting public sector, health care, or health insurance exchange platforms2+ years of experience leading global delivery models across United States and India teams1+ years of experience partnering with executive stakeholders on quality metrics, risk mitigation, and delivery reporting1+ years of experience applying generative artificial intelligence, large language models, optical character recognition, or computer vision to quality engineering solutions1+ years of experience with application programming interface testing, end-to-end integration testing, or enterprise workflow validation For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,500 to $252,500. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
