About the Role

As a Commercial Litigation Associate in our Los Angeles office, you will serve as a core member of a broad and expanding practice group. You will navigate high-stakes disputes across local, state, and federal courts, handling every phase of the litigation lifecycle—from initial strategy and discovery to trial and appellate advocacy. This role is designed for a practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to integrate into a robust national practice that values professional development and seamless team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Complex Litigation Management: Lead and support diverse commercial matters, including consumer class actions, financial services, media/entertainment, and product liability litigation.
• Courtroom Advocacy: Regularly represent clients in local, state, and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
• Strategic Counseling: Provide nuanced legal counsel to a wide range of local, national, and international clients, clarifying goals and achieving results in high-pressure disputes.
• Case Development: Draft sophisticated pleadings, motions, and briefs; manage comprehensive discovery; and prepare for depositions and hearings.
• Collaborative Execution: Deliver efficient, high-quality legal services as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of client service on a national scale.

Requirements

• Experience: 4-6 years of high-level litigation experience, preferably with a focus on commercial, class action, or entertainment law.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven track record of handling complex disputes for sophisticated corporate entities and financial institutions.
• Bar Admission: Must be an active member in good standing of the California State Bar .
• Academic Background: JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials and sharp critical reasoning skills.
• Skills: Exceptional writing skills, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to articulate complex legal theories to both clients and the court.
