PeopleSoft HCM Integrator / Functional Lead

Duration: 6 Months Hours: 35-40 per week Location: Hybrid – NYC (Onsite as required) Start: July-August 2026 Client: MTAHQ People Tower Job Overview The MTAHQ Program Delivery & HR Data Science team is seeking a seasoned PeopleSoft HCM Integrator to serve as a Business Analyst and Functional Lead. The consultant will support new PeopleSoft HCM modules, enhancements, and existing production functionality. The role also includes participation in business process reengineering initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead detailed analysis, planning, and requirements definition for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality. Develop functional architectures and models aligned with evolving business needs. Conduct process improvement reviews across system functionality, operations, logistics, and personnel. Map business processes to PeopleSoft HCM capabilities. Ensure alignment between applications and business requirements; collaborate with process owners to resolve issues. Define data flows and ensure integration across business processes and systems. Facilitate requirements gathering and user design sessions with stakeholders. Coordinate project deliverables with MTAIT, Performance Management, and other internal groups. Partner with designers to complete system enhancement designs. Design and develop HCM reports; build moderate to complex PeopleSoft queries. Write complex SQL (DML/DQL) scripts for reporting and data analysis. Participate in end-to-end and system integration testing. Support staffing, scheduling, and deliverable planning for system enhancements. Major Projects & Deliverables ePerformance Enhancements - 2026 Compensation Restructure – Analysis & Implementation 11 Position Management for NYCT NonRep Kronos Timekeeping Migration – PeopleSoft HCM Changes Required Qualifications 10+ years PeopleSoft HCM functional and technical experience (v9.2+). Deep expertise across modules: Human Resources, Compensation, Position Management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition / Candidate Gateway, ESS/Client. Proven experience with full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations. Strong SQL (DML/DQL) and PeopleSoft Query development experience (10+ years). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Experience reviewing project deliverables for quality and compliance. Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical designs. Familiarity with PeopleSoft Test Framework (preferred). Experience with State government projects (preferred). Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation. Strong understanding of relational database design. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
