Job Description
Assist in the formulation and development of accounting practices, policies, and analysis.
Assist with on-site audits of nationwide reinsurance companies.
Assist in the development of new procedures, policies, and systems for the accounting, reporting, and analysis of a nationwide reinsurance program including the Reinsurance Accounting Systems, Pilot Programs, Corporate General Ledger, etc.
Reviews programs, regulations, reports, legislation, and policies to help analyze the effect of changes on accounting reporting and resolve accounting and systems problems.
Conducts program monitoring, systems maintenance as well as maintaining the daily process of funding producer losses to the reinsured companies within the crop insurance industry.
Analyzes and evaluates data with respect to Cost Center control, budgetary resources, annual Financial Statements, and compliance with Appropriations Law.
