This position does require billable hours.Key Responsibilities:Conduct searches via Lexis and social mediaProcess and follow up on authorizations for the receipt of medical, employment, worker's compensation, disability, tax, union, educational and other recordsOrder records and maintain a production logReview, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendantsDraft discovery requests and answersDraft stipulations, orders, motions to compel, motions for show causeRedact and Bates stamp documentsDetermine, prepare and organize material needed for expert witness review, mediation, and depositionTrial preparation, including determination and preparation of exhibits, witness materials, and pre-trial filingsQualifications:Bachelor's degree required, Paralegal certificate preferred5+ years' experience as a litigation paralegal or insurance claims handler in a fast paced, high volume, team-oriented environmentInsurance defense experience is a plusExperience with pretrial discovery, hearings, arbitration and trial preparationsMust be proactive and able to prioritize tasks for multiple stakeholders, including attorneys and clientsAnalytical thinking and decision-making skills are criticalClear and effective communication skills both orally and writtenWhy Should You Apply?Benefits: Outstanding benefits package, including 401k match and generous PTO planCareer Growth: Ample opportunities for professional development and advancementEmployee Perks: Access to corporate discount plans and other benefits
