Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions collaboratively or independently according to your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care oversight
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Ensuring accurate and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty designation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days
