Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Fort Worth, Texas. We partner with school districts nationwide to connect exceptional education professionals with meaningful opportunities where they can make a lasting impact on students.
About the Position
We are seeking a skilled SLP to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students while collaborating with educational teams and families to support communication and academic success.
Job Duties
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Complete progress reports and clinical documentation
- Provide evidence-based interventions
- Monitor student progress
- Recommend appropriate accommodations and communication strategies
- Maintain compliance with state and federal requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Appropriate Texas school-based credential or authorization, as applicable
- Current CCC-SLP preferred; eligible Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Completion of required supervised clinical experience
- Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
