Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, night call, 24-hour weekend call
• Job Setting: Hospital OR and inpatient rounding
• Types of Cases: Cardiothoracic Surgery including 1st Assist in OR
• Procedures: Vein/artery harvesting using the Maquet system; chest tube removal; pacing wire removal; wound care (suture and staple removal, debridement)
• Credentialing: 60-90 days

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified
• Certifications: NCCPA certification (PA only); ACLS
• Licensure: Active Indiana license required
