Our detox center environment necessitates a collaborative approach to treatment, engaging with various stakeholders including the Department of Corrections and healthcare providers to ensure seamless access to care and accurate treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Actively collaborate with the Department of Corrections to facilitate timely access to patients, secure appropriate housing, and determine effective treatment dispositions.

• Coordinate care management with institutional programs, developing and leading group therapy sessions in mental health observation units and other designated areas.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records by completing all required documentation and engaging in weekly clinical supervision with the Clinical Supervisor for professional growth and quality assurance.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary mental health and medical rounds, ensuring comprehensive patient care and case management.
\n
• Lead case conferences and be instrumental in treatment planning for patients who are receiving or are considered for mental health treatment, advocating for their needs and preferences.
\n
• Conduct psychological assessments and testing when assigned, while also having the opportunity to mentor social work interns or student volunteers.
\n
• Execute mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, assessments, and follow-up care initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
\n
• Evaluate and coordinate the disposition of patients to secure the appropriate level of mental health care.
\n
• Work closely with Reentry Social Workers to ensure thorough discharge planning for patients transitioning to aftercare solutions.
\n
• Complete necessary statistical reports to contribute to organizational assessments and improvement initiatives.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily focus on a diverse population of clients, including children, adolescents, and adult individuals coping with substance use and mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $122,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
