Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each student’s mental health challenges and socio-emotional needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's circumstances.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing solution-focused methodologies, helping students build coping strategies and emotional resilience.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and best practices in mental health service delivery.

• Work collaboratively with educators, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to student care.

• Provide education and emotional support to students and their families, empowering them to understand mental health issues and navigate available resources.

• Stay current with ongoing mental health research and best practice methodologies to continually enhance the therapeutic experience of students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on students in the K-12 education system, addressing mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. You will work closely with a diverse population, recognizing and respecting various cultural backgrounds, which will inform your treatment approaches and intervention strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California is essential.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with school-aged children and adolescents.
