Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW specializing in school-based therapy, you will fulfill a range of responsibilities aimed at providing effective mental health support. Your key tasks include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of students to identify their mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions.

• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, adapting your approach to suit each student’s unique requirements.

• Documenting all patient interactions and maintaining up-to-date clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy at all times.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes school psychologists, counselors, and educators to coordinate care and provide holistic support to students.

• Participating in regular case consultations and contributing to team meetings to discuss treatment progress and refine therapeutic approaches based on collective feedback.

• Providing psychoeducation workshops for students, parents, and school staff on mental health issues, promoting awareness and understanding within the school community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
