Work Environment\n

This position is designed for flexibility, as you will work remotely, allowing for an adaptable schedule. You will typically be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend coverage as needed. This structure is vital for ensuring that we provide comprehensive mental health services during peak school hours and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that encompass students' personal histories and presenting issues to identify their needs effectively.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with students, aiming to address a range of mental health concerns while promoting emotional wellness and successful school integration.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, to facilitate healing and growth.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that enhance personal development, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies for students facing academic or personal challenges.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and counselors, to coordinate and optimize care.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques, and make referrals to higher-level care when necessary.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them to navigate treatment options effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Valid and current LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
