Job Description
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize efficiency.
- Conduct research on tax regulations to provide guidance on complex tax matters.
- Support tax audits and assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Maintain and update tax records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather data required for tax filings and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax compliance and reporting procedures.
- Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and communicate potential impacts to the team.

The Successful Applicant
- 1.5 years of experience in corporate tax compliance
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation and reporting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively across departments.
- A proactive approach to staying updated on tax law changes.
