Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an invaluable member of our dedicated imaging team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Ensure a comforting and safe environment for patients during procedures, taking the time to clarify each step of the process
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of imaging machinery while promptly addressing any technical issues
• Maintain accurate patient records while documenting procedures in the electronic medical records system
• Stay updated on advancements within the ultrasound field and best practice methodologies

Education Requirements

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field, either at the Associate or Bachelor level
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is also preferred
