Work Environment

The environment fosters teamwork, with a supportive atmosphere where two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) collaborate to provide individualized care. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the specific needs and goals of each patient, creating detailed treatment plans to aid in their rehabilitation journey.
• Typically see 2-3 patients per hour, dedicating attention to their unique recovery pathways.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, focusing on non-surgical treatment options to promote healing and recovery.
• Independently develop and implement comprehensive care plans employing a variety of therapeutic modalities, ranging from manual therapy techniques to cutting-edge rehabilitation technologies.
• Design and adapt personalized fitness and wellness programs that support each patient's rehabilitation journey and long-term health goals.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care that inspires patients to regain strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals as needed to ensure holistic patient care and share treatment progress effectively.
• Document all patient interactions and progress meticulously to maintain accurate records for continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve are primarily athletes and active individuals, ranging from recreational to competitive levels, seeking rehabilitation following injuries or surgeries. Our focus on outpatient care means that you will engage with a diverse clientele who are committed to their recovery and eager to return to their preferred physical activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions or board actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to perform detailed assessments.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, providing an advantage in understanding the complex needs of rehabilitative care.
• Experience working with EMR systems for effective documentation and patient management.
• Familiarity with sports medicine principles and practices, enhancing care for our athletic clients.

Compensation and Benefits
