Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional RadiologyWe are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a rewarding opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience in IR settings, particularly in a Level 1 Trauma Center.Shift InformationDays with On-Call RotationMinimum Years of Experience2 years of nursing experience, with critical care experience preferredCertifications and RequirementsActive State RN LicensureBLS, ACLS, PALS certificationsNIHSS certificationEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUtilize the nursing process and critical thinking to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of patient care.Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and standards of care.Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation in line with established standards.Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy.Engage in department performance improvement activities and shared governance.Provide guidance and clinical expertise to support patients' longitudinal care plans.Manage complex situations involving patient safety and experience, escalating issues as needed.Support peer review and feedback processes within the nursing continuum.Maintain timely patient flow and respond to telephone calls, including performing telephone triage as needed.Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited nursing program.A minimum of 3 years of RN experience, including 1 year of critical care experience is required.Experience in cardiovascular interventions is preferred.Certification and LicensureCurrent State RN licensure by the Department of Professional Regulation.Current CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certifications.Successfully pass EKG test prior to completion of orientation.National Institute Healthcare Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.Holiday CoverageHoliday coverage is required.Client Details City Rockford State IL
