Job Overview Citibank, N.A. seeks a Commercial Subsidiaries Group Relationship Manager for its New York, New York location. Responsibilities Partner with product specialists to provide a full array of corporate banking solutions to serve the financial needs of multi‑national clients. Understand the unique needs of each client and creatively deliver solutions across a wide range of financial service areas—including cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, custody and clearing, loans, capital markets, derivatives, and structured products. Collaborate with investment bankers to deliver investment‑banking capabilities to global clients. Drive Citi’s global network initiatives to enhance access of the bank’s subsidiaries within the Citi network, focusing on LATAM and EMEA, and connect them to global services. Uncover future needs, roadblocks, risks and expectations; proactively own client relationships and deepen them. Develop tailored financial solutions using knowledge of local industries and markets for LATAM and EMEA subsidiaries. Structure customized solutions in partnership with product specialists and subject‑matter experts. Work closely with Case Managers on client onboarding and retention, ensuring completion of Know‑Your‑Client (KYC) and other compliance deliverables. Identify cross‑sell opportunities and increase share of wallet. Maximize client experience by sharing market updates, trends and intelligence. Drive continuous innovation in solutions delivered to clients and grow businesses where appropriate. Network with clients to identify new business opportunities. Administer client credit relationships, coordinate and supervise the full process to ensure policies and institutional procedures are properly applied. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi’s policies and guidelines. Telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 6 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience as a Corporate Regional Relationship Manager or similar role, involving marketing and implementation of global banking solutions for LATAM companies and subsidiaries of EMEA, NAM and APAC multi‑national institutional and commercial clients. Experience must encompass: Credit finance products, investment banking products, and industry credit policies and parameters. Advanced early warning detection skills. Banking products such as foreign‑exchange solutions for currency trading and hedging solutions to cover interest‑rate, FX and commodity risks. Track record of international treasury and cash‑management solutions. Knowledge of LATAM and EMEA local policies and procedures, including cross‑border operations, credit and business practices, financing instruments and KYC regulation. Familiarity with debt rating models and returns‑on‑risk capital models. Proficiency with customer‑relationship‑management tools (e.g., Salesforce). Relationship management with institutional clients within the commercial and corporate bank for subsidiaries of multinational companies. Up to 40% international and domestic travel required.
