STAFF ACCOUNTANT - LOCATION: Onsite 92127 - COMPENSATION: $35-40/hour TEMP-TO-HIRE Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys owning the close process and improving financial operations? Join an established organization where you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and driving process improvements across the accounting function. Who you are: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 2+ years of related accounting experience. Experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with knowledge of GAAP and internal controls. What you’ll do: Prepare journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and variance analyses while maintaining assigned balance sheet accounts. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and ensure timelines are met. Assist with audits, financial reporting, banking transactions, and the resolution of accounting discrepancies. Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, strengthen controls, and enhance process efficiency. What does this position pay?
