Accountant

We’re hiring a driven, growth-minded Accountant to join a collaborative team onsite in the Biloxi area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career and gain exposure across a high-volume, operationally complex environment.

In this role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations, playing a key part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support month-end close, including preparation and review of income statements, balance sheets, and departmental financials
• Perform and review reconciliations, audits, and financial analyses across multiple business areas
• Respond to departmental inquiries and provide supporting documentation as needed
• Assist with state and federal tax filings, ensuring timelines and compliance requirements are met
• Work heavily in Excel to analyze, reconcile, and report on data from multiple systems
• Ensure all assigned work is completed accurately and on time, especially during close cycles

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.)
• Working knowledge of financial statements and reporting
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage deadlines
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Nice-to-Have

• Workday and/or Adaptive Planning experience
• Mississippi sales and use tax experience
• Audit background

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $44,000 - $65,000, with flexibility based on relevant experience, education, and overall skill set.
