About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead its enterprise-wide risk management initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust risk governance frameworks that align with industry standards and organizational goals. This role involves close collaboration with executive leadership and the Board to enhance risk oversight and decision-making processes. The CRO will also oversee compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring seamless business operations and market expansion, and will be a key figure in integrating risk management practices with operational strategies to bolster organizational resilience. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree strongly preferred, and at least 15 years of senior leadership experience in risk management or compliance within financial services. Expertise in alternative investments and regulatory environments is essential, as is a strong knowledge of U.S. securities regulation and international compliance standards. Professional certifications such as FRM, CRCMP, CFA, CPA, or CAMS are also preferred. The role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to mentor and develop global teams, and a proven track record in integrating risk management with operational strategies. The CRO will be expected to lead teams in risk assessment, regulatory engagement, and incident management, and to promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness throughout the organization.
