HELP/ Classroom Assistant Teachers - Elementary 2026-2027

Position Type: Elementary School Teaching / Elementary School Teaching Location: Elementary Schools Job Goal The HELP Teacher/Classroom Assistant, under the direction of the classroom teacher, assists the teacher in the instructional and non-instructional activities of the class, so as to provide the children with more direct supervision and instruction. Qualifications Preferred - Bachelor's Degree with coursework in early childhood training, psychology, classroom methods or related areas. Such alternative or additional qualifications as determined by the Board. Preferred - a New Jersey Teaching Certificate Demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities and to communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians and school staff. Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Successful Criminal History Clearance. Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.
