Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Pay Rate: $75-$80/hour

Shift: 4x10s | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Duration: 13 Weeks

Location: Chicago, IL

We are hiring for a Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet-designated teaching hospital, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Level III Perinatal Center with 397 beds. We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN to support a high-volume Cath Lab and EP program.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and circulate cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Administer moderate sedation (Versed/Fentanyl)
• Manage critical cardiac drips and hemodynamically unstable patients
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Provide care for STEMI, NSTEMI, Impella, IABP, CTO, PCI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, ICD, and EP patients
• Participate in call rotation and emergency procedures

Requirements

• Active RN License
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
• Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Strong experience with moderate sedation and critical care management

Schedule & Call

• 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• On-call required
• 4-5 overnight call shifts per 4-week schedule
• 2 weekend call shifts every 4 weeks
• 30-minute response time when on call
