Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring and careful observation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for first-time travelers to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions, ensuring timely identification of changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately using Meditech electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, utilizing ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Float within scope to other units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active VA or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of ICU or telemetry nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record systems.
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12s), with flexibility to rotate holidays and weekends.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
