You recruit, interview, check references, extend offers, and support new hire orientation, while also conducting exit interviews and processing employee status changes. You follow established processes and guidelines, work under close supervision, and play a key role in delivering a customer-obsessed candidate experience for a university hiring team during peak hiring periods.ResponsibilitiesSource candidates proactively using various channels and tools to build strong talent pipelines for high-volume hiring needs.Reach out to potential candidates, introduce opportunities, and engage them throughout the recruitment process.Keep candidates warm and engaged between stages of the interview process through timely and clear communication.Conduct candidate interviews and assess qualifications in line with established guidelines and role requirements.Check candidate references as part of the pre-employment screening process.Extend job offers to selected candidates and clearly communicate offer details and next steps.Answer questions from candidates and hiring teams regarding the recruitment process, timelines, and role expectations.Support new hire orientation activities to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for incoming employees.Perform exit interviews and document feedback from departing employees in accordance with company procedures.Process changes in employee status, such as transfers and other employment updates, with a high level of accuracy.Follow pre-established recruiting processes, instructions, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.Collaborate closely with supervisors, hiring managers, and the university recruiting team to meet peak hiring demands.Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all administrative tasks, including offer processing and data entry.Manage multiple requisitions and candidate pipelines simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Provide a customer-obsessed experience to candidates and internal stakeholders through professional, responsive communication.Essential Skills12 years of experience in a high-volume sourcing or recruiting environment.Experience in a high-volume administrative role supporting offer processing, transfers, or similar employment transactions.Knowledge of commonly used recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform recruiting and administrative tasks.Strong attention to detail in handling candidate information, offers, and employee status changes.Experience with recruiting and sourcing activities, including outreach and pipeline management.Knowledge in talent acquisition or recruiting coordination, with exposure to full-cycle recruitment support.Ability to work effectively under immediate supervision and report regularly to a supervisor or manager.Strong communication skills to interact professionally with candidates and hiring teams in a fast-paced environment.Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering a positive candidate and stakeholder experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in a relevant field may be required, depending on role specifications.Experience as a recruiting coordinator or in a similar talent acquisition support role.Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and requisitions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clear documentation and records.Interest in supporting university hiring programs and seasonal peak recruitment cycles.Work EnvironmentThis role is 100% onsite in either Chicago, IL or Seattle, WA. You work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment that is highly customer-focused, collaborating closely with supervisors, hiring managers, and the university recruiting team during peak hiring periods. The position operates under immediate supervision with established processes and guidelines, providing structure and clear expectations for daily work. You spend much of your time using standard office technology and recruiting tools to manage candidate pipelines, process offers and transfers, and communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
