R&D Intern

Take a look at this opportunity with our Research & Development team, which is seeking a passionate individual to fill the role of our R&D Intern. This entry-level role will work onsite full-time on a variety of moderately complex projects providing support for the R&D Department. Prolacta Bioscience is a privately held life sciences company that has touched the lives of more than 100,000 premature infants worldwide. The company specializes in human milk‑based nutritional products and employs over 300 people globally, many of whom have dedicated their lives to neonatal care. How you will contribute Support research and perform biological or chemical assays per the established procedures or guidelines (such as ELISA, SDS‑PAGE, particle‑size analyzer and others). Compile and analyze experimental data. Support ongoing product characterization, stability study, and data analysis. Perform study tasks to support R&D and/or Operations projects, including writing summary reports. Write protocols or summary reports. Perform documentation change request. Prepare, ship, and track samples to external laboratories or sites. What you bring to the role Enrolled (junior/senior) or newly graduated from accredited colleges or universities with good academic standing. Majoring in Biological Science, Chemistry, Food Science or Engineering (bio/chemical) degree. MUST have prior experience with engineering, chemistry, or biology laboratory (e.g., laboratory courses). Flexible work hours, including some mandatory early morning and late‑night shifts. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Attention to detail. Self‑motivation, adaptability, organization, and a positive attitude. Good written and oral communication.
