The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a critical leadership role responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales team within a premier territory. Territory covers mid Florida up through the panhandle of Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Preference for the candidate to be located out of Jacksonville or Orlando . As a leader within a stable, privately-held global organization , you will blend strategic vision with hands-on field coaching to deliver consistent results across contractor and distribution channels. This role is designed for a performance-driven leader who values the autonomy of a private company environment and is motivated to modernize sales processes through accountability and data-driven execution. Key Responsibilities Drive Market Growth: Exceed sales, margin, and EBITDA targets through the execution of comprehensive regional sales plans. Field-First Leadership: Devote approximately 40% of your time to the field , conducting regular ride-alongs and one-on-one coaching sessions to build bench strength and elevate team performance. Strategic Channel Transition: Lead the regional shift toward a distribution-heavy model while maintaining deep, high-level relationships with key contractors and architects. Operational Excellence: Utilize CRM and business intelligence tools to manage pipeline health, provide accurate forecasting, and ensure rigorous adherence to company procedures. Team Accountability: Manage a team (6-8) of internal sales representatives, fostering a culture of high performance, discipline, and goal attainment. Qualifications Experience: 5–10+ years of successful field-based sales experience, with a preference for leadership in the construction or building materials industries . Leadership Style: A "player-coach" mentality with a proven ability to hold teams accountable to KPIs and professional standards. Relationship Management: Expertise in selling through two-step distribution and influencing specifications through architects and engineers. Data Literacy: Comfortable using CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics) and PowerBI to guide decision-making and performance management. Travel: Ability to travel 50% to engage with jobsite interactions and support the regional team.
