Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room travel assignment in California. This 8-week contract starts on 08/17/2026 for a night-shift schedule (3x12) with 7:00 PM–7:00 AM hours. Responsibilities
- Triage and assess ER patients to determine priority and urgency of care.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage IV therapies as prescribed.
- Perform accurate documentation in the EPIC system and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to stabilize patients and prepare for procedures.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition of care as needed.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 2+ years of recent ER nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and adapt to a fast-paced ER setting
