Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers the chance to work closely with children, providing vital educational and behavioral support throughout the school day.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or similar role in a school setting is highly valued
• Ability to follow teacher direction and support instructional activities in the classroom
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to build rapport with students of varying abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant training or certifications welcomed

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by classroom teachers
• Assist with classroom management and fostering a positive learning environment
• Help implement educational plans, accommodations, and modifications under teacher guidance
• Support students with behavioral, social, or emotional needs throughout the school day
• Supervise students during non-instructional times such as recess, lunch, or transitions
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
