Who We're Looking For The City of Beverly Hills is seeking an outstanding Video Production Specialist (Part-Time Hourly), to perform video production duties in support of the City’s cable television programming; to operate cameras and perform editing functions; and to provide professional level support to an assigned supervisor. Distinguishing Characteristics This is the journey level class in the professional part-time hourly Video Production Specialist series. This class is distinguished from the Senior Video Production Specialist in that the latter performs directing and switching of live coverage and may provide technical and functional supervision over assigned staff. Work Schedule This is a part-time position and will be working a non-traditional work schedule, which may include evenings and weekends (including both Saturdays & Sundays). Detailed Job Description Video Production Specialist (Part Time Hourly) Salary and Benefits $29.80 - $36.40 Hourly This position is represented by the Municipal Employees Association - Part-Time Unit and is covered by the negotiated terms and conditions of that Association's Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Additional details about benefits may be found in the MEA Part-Time MOU, a copy of which is located at Minimum Qualifications Experience and Training: Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: Two years of recent television production experience. Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in broadcasting, television production, or a related field. License and Certificate: Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver’s license as required by the position. Selection Process Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as outlined in the job bulletin at the time of submission unless specified otherwise.
